Energy & Electrical Equipment
Low- and high-voltage equipment, switchgear and substations, with power-supply design, electrical installation and commissioning.
INFRA is a diversified engineering and infrastructure holding in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Four specialized companies cover railway construction, signalling, power systems and transport design — engineered to carry traffic for decades.
Engineering at national scale
From design to operation
Infrastructure built to last decades — designed, constructed and equipped under one roof.
Who we are
An integrated holding that carries infrastructure from the first survey to a railway in service.
INFRA brings together specialized engineering, manufacturing and construction companies working across energy and electrical equipment, railway signalling and telecom, transport infrastructure design, road and railway construction, and turnkey EPC delivery.
Through its subsidiaries — Trans Engineering Group (TEG), BT Signal, NVA and Boshtransloyiha — the holding designs, builds, electrifies and equips railways and power systems engineered to serve regions for generations.
What we do
From electrical equipment and signalling to design and construction — the full lifecycle of transport and energy infrastructure within one holding.
Low- and high-voltage equipment, switchgear and substations, with power-supply design, electrical installation and commissioning.
Signalling and interlocking systems — microprocessor interlocking, axle-counting, level-crossing signalling and train control, from design through commissioning.
Surveys, feasibility studies and complete construction documentation for railways, roads, interchanges, stations, bridges and tunnels.
Roads and the supporting transport infrastructure that tie regions and economic corridors together.
Construction and development of railway lines, second tracks, electrification, junctions and stations.
Engineering, procurement and construction of turnkey infrastructure — a direction the holding is now building out.
The holding
Each company holds its own discipline — together they deliver railways and power systems end to end.
A full-cycle railway engineering company with its own production — a developer and integrator of turnkey signalling, interlocking, telecom, SCADA and power-supply systems. Its in-house microprocessor systems are certified to SIL 4 and run across the 1520 mm gauge network, with group presence in Uzbekistan, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Georgia.
A railway signalling, telecom and power-supply engineering company associated with the NPS Group, with 15+ years keeping trains moving on the railways of Kazakhstan and the CIS. It covers the full lifecycle — feasibility, design, supply, installation & commissioning, training and service — and was the first to bring radio-channel train control to the 1520 mm gauge. Own production; SIL 4, TR TS and ISO certified.
An Uzbek manufacturer of low- and high-voltage electrical equipment — block-type transformer substations, switchgear and distribution systems — carrying forward the legacy of the “EMI” plant since the 1940s. It handles turnkey (EPC) supply, installation and commissioning of substations, employs 250+ specialists and is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
Uzbekistan's head design and survey institute for railways and transport infrastructure (formerly “Tashgiprotrans”), founded in 1953 and a joint-stock company since 2014, with Uzbekistan Railways as its largest shareholder. It carries the full cycle of surveys and design — railway lines and electrification, highways, bridges, tunnels, elevated metro, stations and civil structures — and is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
Selected work
Railway and infrastructure projects designed and equipped by the holding's companies.
344 km across four regions; Afrosiyob trains at up to 250 km/h, with 4 new bridges and 189 engineered structures.
122 km through the Kuramin Range, including the 19.2 km Kamchik-pass tunnel, bringing the Fergana Valley onto the national network.
Access railway serving a gas-chemical complex on the Ustyurt plateau that turns 4.5 bn m³ of gas a year into polymers.
517 km, 49 stations — signalling, interlocking, axle-counting and radio-channel train control, delivered as subcontractor.
230 km — microprocessor interlocking, automatic block and level-crossing signalling (2016).
143 km, 8 stations — the first deployment of radio-channel train control on the 1520 mm gauge, as subcontractor.
Why INFRA
Design, manufacturing, construction, electrification and signalling within one holding — fewer interfaces between contractors, clear accountability.
SIL 4, TR TS and ISO 9001:2015 certification, with microprocessor rail-control systems certified to SIL 4 across the group.
High-speed lines, mountain tunnels, electrification and large-scale signalling — delivered and in operation.
Active across Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, with group presence reaching Moldova, Georgia and the UAE.
